Advancing women's health science using menstrual blood

Founding story

MenSC Labs was born from a shared passion for transforming women's health. Our CEO, Kyle, saw first-hand how his partner struggled with irregular menstrual cycles, while our CPO, Immanuella, witnessed the consequences of limited access to healthcare in her home country. Having worked closely together at a precision medicine company in Silicon Valley, both understood the importance of translating lab science into real, tangible impact for patients.

Under their leadership, the team commercialised its first research-grade cell product within two months of completing its initial pilot study. MenSC Labs became one of the first portfolio companies in MedTech Actuator's Singapore cohort — a Melbourne-based medtech accelerator — and has gone on to win several awards, including the top prize at NUS's Global Healthy Longevity Medicine Conference startup competition.
